Equinox opened a new chapter in the public creation of a digital painting when Dan Arenzon transformed the 5 star hotel Meliá Barcelona into a Mecca of electronic art. He lived between the vernal equinox and the autumnal equinox 2009 as the house artist of a 5 star hotel in the heart of Barcelona´s business district creating live The Equinox Collection.

A 6 months public and online performance and on-line creation of the equinox collection was transmited to 300 hotels in 30 countries; the live creation of 144 digital paintings ended with 12 exhibitions, opening at 12 noon following the sun from east to west in Bali, Indonesia ; Hanoi, Vietnam; Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; Berlin, Düsseldorf; Germany; Barcelona, Bilbao, Madrid, Palma de Mallorca, Seville; Spain; London, UK; Buenos Aires, Argentina; Mexico City, Mexico.
